Ding repairs & glassing
Surfboard repairs
Bring your board into the shop and we will look at it with you in person. You get a rough quote on the spot off our price guide, then the board goes to our professional repairer, and comes back quicker than the usual wait around here.
Fast turnaround
Bring the board in
Drop into the shop with the board. Damage is far easier to judge in person than from a photo. We can press the area, check for water in the foam and see how far the crack really runs.
Rough quote on the spot
We price it off our repair guide while you are standing there, so you know roughly what you are in for before you decide. It is an estimate, and the repairer confirms it before any work starts.
Off to the repairer
The board goes to the professional repairer we work with, gets fixed properly and comes back to the shop for you to collect. We will let you know the moment it lands.
Price guide
What repairs cost
A rough guide to what each job runs to. Every board is different, so treat these as a starting point. The real number comes from looking at your board in the shop.
Quotes given in store are estimates based on what we can see. If the repairer finds more damage once they open it up, we come back to you with a revised price before any further work happens.
Turnaround
Back in the water sooner
Most shops fit repairs around their own workshop queue, and a simple ding can sit for weeks waiting its turn. We work directly with a dedicated repairer, so boards move through instead of sitting in a pile.
If you are chasing a swell or heading away, tell us when you need it by. We will be straight with you about whether that is achievable rather than promising a date we cannot hold.
What we take in
Most damage is repairable
A cracked board is not a dead board. Water getting into the foam is what kills it, and that is exactly what a proper repair stops. Bring it in before it gets worse.
- Ding and puncture repairs, rail to deck
- Fin box replacement and re-plugging
- Nose caps and tail caps after a snap or heavy impact
- Delamination and soft-deck repairs
- Cracked glass and stress fractures around the stringer
- Both PU/polyester and epoxy construction
